The CO2 performance ladder

To achieve our CO₂ emissions reduction targets in line with VINCI Energies objectives (see document: ‘VINCI Energies: Environmental Ambition’), we use the CO₂ performance ladder.

This ladder allows us to measure and check on our progress and our action points in the implementation of our projects.

The main areas of action are:

• Energy monitoring for our buildings and those of our clients
• The introduction of sustainable low-carbon solutions for our buildings and those of our clients
• The ongoing electrification of our vehicle fleet

The CO2 performance ladder has three objectives:

• A 40% reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2030 (scopes 1&2)
• Transparency (internal and external): continuing the development of scope 3 and helping clients and suppliers with their energy transition
• Participation in CO₂ reduction initiatives: learning and sharing

Obtaining the level 3 certificate of the CO2 performance ladder

Every year we are audited by BCCA. Following a positive audit outcome, we receive a CO₂ performance ladder level 3 certificate. This certificate attests to our efforts to reduce greenhouse gases.
